This Chargeback Protection Policy outlines how Bigmen Fans handles chargebacks and disputes, and your responsibilities as a user of the platform. Our goal is to protect creators and maintain a fair, secure payment environment for everyone.

1. What Is a Chargeback?

A chargeback occurs when a user disputes a transaction with their credit card provider or bank, claiming that the transaction was unauthorized, fraudulent, or that the services or goods were not received as expected.

2. Our Policy on Chargebacks

All sales are final. Users are responsible for reviewing the content, subscription terms, and pricing before making a purchase.
We encourage all users to contact us directly to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support team.
Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the matter through our support may result in the suspension or permanent termination of your account.

3. Impact on Creators

When a fan files a chargeback, the disputed amount is withdrawn from the creator's balance or future earnings. In addition:

A chargeback fee (typically between $15–$25 depending on the payment processor) may be applied.
Creators are responsible for any chargebacks resulting from their subscribers, unless otherwise protected under our dispute resolution process.

4. Chargeback Dispute Process

If a chargeback is filed:

Bigmen Fans and the payment processor will gather evidence to challenge the claim (e.g., IP logs, content access history, terms accepted).
We may contact the user or the creator for additional information.
If the dispute is resolved in our favor, the funds will be returned to the creator (minus any applicable fees).

5. Protecting Against Chargebacks

To minimize the risk of chargebacks:

Fans should only use valid payment methods that they control.
Creators should clearly describe what fans will receive upon subscribing or making a purchase.
Both users and creators should retain proof of communications and transactions in case of disputes.
